About Kent

Dr. Kent Willyard is a family physician in Virginia, USA. His interest in handheld computers dates back to medical school, beginning with the Apple Newton. He has lectured and written about handheld computers since his residency, and authored several Palm OS applications, including Shots and MedRules. His Weblog, the “Ectopic Brain,” was a popular source of Palm OS medical news and information for over five years, until its closure at the end of 2006. He continues to be actively involved in medical informatics with his multispecialty group, and looks forward to helping keep Palm OS users up-to-date as a co-blogger with the Palmdoc Chronicles.
