About the author, Kent: Dr. Kent Willyard is a family physician in Virginia, USA. His interest in handheld computers dates back to medical school, beginning with the Apple Newton. He has lectured and written about handheld computers since his residency, and authored several Palm OS applications, including Shots and MedRules. His Weblog, the “Ectopic Brain,” was a popular source of Palm OS medical news and information for over five years, until its closure at the end of 2006.
