MediPDA (previously called PreMedi) the WebOS medical calculator has been submitted for approval to the Palm App catalogue. If it meets the standards required by Palm (hopefully) it will then appear at a later date in the catalogue. I hope it does for I suspect there are many Palm Pre users who are hesitant to [...]

Updated my little WebOS medical calculator this weekend. It now has 13 modules (the BSA, IBW, BMI and Lean Body weight have been consolidated into one module), better error trapping (no more NaN errors I hope!) and also an automatic Numlock which makes it easier to enter numbers.
Here’s a demo video I made which shows [...]

The iPhone Medical App Review looks like a useful site for those looking for iPhone medical applications. Many of the applications in the App store are unfortunately “Buy before you Try” rather than “Try before you Buy”. While it’s true that some apps are cheap at 99 cents, others are more costly. So instead [...]

* Apache II score
* Body Mass Index
* Body Surface Area
